About Ike's Vintage Tech

I've been around computers since I was eight, typing BASIC out of books on a Tandy Color Computer 3. My first real job was at a Gateway store in Pennsylvania in the late nineties, which is where computers went from hobby to career. The Army took me into component-level electronics repair, and after that I spent about a decade as a defense contractor, including a year in Afghanistan doing software updates on counter-IED systems. These days I'm still in contracting, working on large simulation systems. Vintage tech came later — it started with a Macintosh SE and really took off once I had the space on the mainland to actually keep everything. The YouTube channel exists because a garage full of machines nobody sees felt like a waste.
